Kristen Foster, President
Kristen Foster has spent more than a decade in a myriad of dynamic corporate communications/publicity/integrated marketing leadership positions. She opened KFPR in 2000 as a comprehensive communications firm offering public relations, entertainment and overall branding/imaging services.
Prior to opening KFPR, she was Vice President of Public Relations for USA Films and USA Home Entertainment, an independent film studio part of Barry Diller’s USA Inc. companies. Foster spearheaded the company’s campaigns for films including Traffic, Being John Malkovich, Pitch Black, Nurse Betty, and the classic restoration of Rear Window (re-release). She oversaw national press initiatives in addition to Academy Awards campaigns, film festival circuits and the development of compelling PR programs. In this role, she also directed the USA Home Entertainment public relations and special events department. This division (previously PolyGram Video) was a leader in the DVD market with releases in the specialty/music genre (Rolling Stones Rock ‘N Roll Circus, Lord of The Dance Live, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS: The Musical brought to a fully-staged DVD production) as well as being the exclusive partner of NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB sports video releases (including SuperBowl, World Series and NBA/NHL All Star DVDs).
Previously, Ms. Foster held positions with several top marketing/PR agencies servicing a wealth of Fortune 500 clients in the consumer products and entertainment sectors. Past accounts have included: McDonald’s, PolyGram, ABC Television, Holiday Inn Worldwide, The Limited, Bayer Aspirin and Scholastic Entertainment.
Ms. Foster started her career at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. as a Department of Defense public affairs officer handling press relations and congressional liaison services for the four branches of U.S. military service. |
