Project:
  Ongoing media relations and MTV Video Music Awards press campaign.
Objective:
  To create press around the nominations and wins of music video director Dave Meyers.
Strategies:
 
  • Position Dave as the “IT” director. While in Miami Dave rented the infamous Versace Mansion and hosted the hottest VIP party with a long list of celebrity guests and an extensive press line.
Press Results:
 

In addition to party press, Dave sat down with local media including more than 30 radio interviews, MTV News and TRL, the Miami Herald and NBC-TV for on-site interviews.

Campaign also resulted in significant national press awareness in: Voice of America and Penthouse
